I watched various excerpts of the Portrait Retouching tutorial for Photoshop CS5, because I was particularly interested in learning more about using the Curves adjustment layer to edit color and tone balance in photos. So, I experimented with a photo (taken by Cristi!) by adding a Curves layer and adjusting both the RGB tones for overall color and the CMYK tones for skin color.

I enjoy the colors used in this because it gives the picture a cooler and more relaxed tone. The after photo looks more enchanting compared to the simple natural photo of before.
ReplyDeleteI love the brightness of the second picture! The edited image really glows in comparison to the flat colors of the first... you really made the image pop! Good job!
