I have watched tutorial videos regarding working with layer effects and styles. The videos introduce the various effects offered in Photoshop CS5 and how to such things as move, copy, or even remove undesired effects. These videos touch on the idea of transparency, opacity, blending, embossing, beveling, and many useful layer effects.

I have taken two photos and combined them using various effects.. I hope you like.. and

    I watched the Layers in Effects Theory and experimented with the drop shadow and the inner shadow which gave the bike more depth. I also watched the Satin and Texture videos and gave the photo a bubbly texture which distorted the image. The bike now looks a couple shades lighter and with more of a shadow.
