DONE

Honestly, I feel like when it comes to advertising. Simplicity is best. Therefore, I kept it bold & simple. My apologies to my classmates who have slaved over this assignment. Midrene.

  1. I like how alive this piece feels. I think you used you main colors very well. I do have a question. What does the word "DONE" refer to?

  2. I think its nice how the interpretation is left open ended..it is very bold and the colors compliment eachother well because they stand out. Its simple and I interpret it as in i want to be "done" reading all the words on all these flyers.

  3. I like your usage of black, white, and red- very classic. I'm not so sure as to what you are advertising for, or even what is done, but that doesn't make me confused. The poster is still extremely effective and I like the way it can convey a different meaning to each viewer.

  4. I also like the classic look of the red on black and white, but I feel like the poster as a whole is too open-ended for the average person to give it much thought. I get that you like simplicity, but I think you need something more to provoke thought, even it's just adding a little more text. I really like the combination of shapes in the background, it adds flair.

  5. I find that the red is very garish and uncomfortable to look at. Had the message been something a bit more decipherable than "DONE" and been more related to the background, I think this piece would have been more successful.

  6. I like how the fluidity of the shapes contrasts with the rigid structure and straight lines of the font. The color of DONE pops out compared to the background effectively.

  7. I like how you interpreted the project. Instead of a typical poster you created a piece of art. You proved you don't have to spend a lot of time on something for it to work.

  8. The color combination, as previously addressed, is a good choice in terms of aesthetics. However, as far as content is concerned, I do not particularly understand what it is that you wish to say here. Yet, I do believe that the composition of the piece itself is well done.
