Photoshop project proposal

Family bonds are going to be the focus of my photoshop project. I want to explore how the strength of family bonds can be documented through images. It is interesting how family members can argue but still come together as a family, thus sometime people add people or take people out of photographs.Therefore, would like to learn how to crop some one in and out of a image. Also,I want to explore what brings families together to build these bonds. For example, in the image below you can see how books brings one family together. My project will explore the things that bring my family together.

Photoshop assignment #2

I watched the video titled three ways to use the shape tools. In this video I learned how to edit the shape and color of shapes. Creating an interactive selection is something I also learned in this video. Pen path is another tool I learned about while watching three ways to use the shape tools. In order to mask the back ground you can use pen path.

I watched applying blending modes to shapes and just created my own little modern piece of art.

Photoshop Work #2

I watched various excerpts of the Portrait Retouching tutorial for Photoshop CS5, because I was particularly interested in learning more about using the Curves adjustment layer to edit color and tone balance in photos. So, I experimented with a  photo (taken by Cristi!) by adding a Curves layer and adjusting both the RGB tones for overall color and the CMYK tones for skin color.
